Your generosity truly means so much to me and my students. Because of your donations, my students have been able to learn in fun, hands-on ways while also creating memories they will never forget. The Elkonin boxes, magnetic boards, and small group learning games have become a part of our daily classroom routines during phonics and reading groups. My students get so excited using the magnetic boards to build words and practice sounds together. One of my favorite moments was watching students confidently use the Elkonin boxes to stretch out sounds and read words on their own. The classroom printer has also been a lifesaver because it helps me quickly print learning activities, center games, homework, and extra support materials for my students.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were soooo excited! They could not wait to touch everything and start using the new learning games during centers. The biggest reaction was definitely the caps, gowns, and graduation decorations. Their faces lit up with excitement when they realized they were really preparing for graduation and getting ready to become first graders! As we finish out the school year, we are continuing to use these materials every day to build reading, writing, and math skills in fun and engaging ways. We are also getting ready for our Kindergarten graduation celebration, and thanks to your support, it is going to be such a special moment for my smart cookies and their families. It's in the small moments—the smiles, the confidence, the excitement—that your gifts have made the biggest difference.\r\nEach morning, as I begin our lessons, I use the magnetic clips and anchor chart paper to build learning right in front of my students. They don't just watch—they come up, move pieces, share ideas, and feel like they are part of something important. I've seen even my quietest students raise their hands more, eager to contribute because the lessons feel alive and accessible to them.\r\nThe oversized dry erase pockets have completely changed how my students approach learning. I have little ones who used to be afraid of getting the wrong answer. Now, they try again and again without hesitation. One of my students looked up at me recently and said, \"It's okay, I can just fix it!\"—and that moment alone showed me how much their confidence has grown.\r\nDuring testing, the headphones have been a true blessing. I have students who struggle to focus or hear clearly in a busy classroom. With their headphones on, I see them settle in, block out distractions, and truly concentrate. Some who once rushed or guessed are now taking their time, listening carefully, and choosing answers with confidence. It has given them a fair chance to show what they really know.\r\nThe poly envelopes, tote shelf, and book bags have created a sense of responsibility and pride. My students carefully pack their books, excited to take them home and share them with their families. Parents have told me their children are asking to read more at home, and that connection between school and home is growing stronger because of you. The laminating machine has become one of our most used tools. I am able to create and preserve materials that my students use daily—things we can revisit, practice with, and build upon. It allows me to be more creative and intentional in how I support their learning. And then there is science time—what has quickly become one of their favorite parts of the day. With the magnetic experiment kit, students explore, test, and ask questions like little scientists. The insect specimen set and magnifying glasses have brought so much wonder into our classroom. I've watched students lean in close, completely amazed, noticing tiny details and asking thoughtful questions. Those moments of curiosity and discovery are something every child deserves.\r\nEvery single item you gave is being used, loved, and making a difference. You didn't just donate supplies—you helped create a classroom where students feel safe to try, excited to learn, and proud of themselves.\r\nThank you for seeing the potential in my students and for helping me nurture it every single day. Your kindness is something we feel daily, and it means more than words can fully express.","fullyFundedDate":1769459054273,"projectUrl":"project/little-gems-big-dreams/9941370/","projectTitle":"“Little Gems, Big Dreams”","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brock Corona","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10369334"},{"teacherId":4688788,"projectId":2728849,"letterContent":"This Social Emotional Learning project will have a powerful and lasting impact on my students by helping them develop the tools they need to understand and manage their emotions. These skills create a safe and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and ready to learn.
