My students were so excited when they saw the snacks arrive. For many of them, having access to a snack during the school day has made a meaningful difference in their ability to refocus and continue learning. We use the snacks to help students who may be feeling hungry, as well as positive behavior incentives to celebrate kindness, effort, responsibility, and perseverance.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments has been seeing students recognize that a small snack can help them reset and get back on track when they are having a difficult day. Instead of allowing hunger or low energy to become a distraction, students are able to refuel and return their attention to the lesson or task in front of them. It has been rewarding to see how something so simple can have such a positive impact on our classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to feel supported, cared for, and ready to learn—no matter what their morning looked like at home.
