Having the children cut out pictures from the healthy foods magazine will enhance fine motor skills while discussing which foods they can identify. Then using the plastic food as a demonstration while reading a story to help increase awareness of healthy foods and unhealthy foods. Scholars will utilize multicultural plastic food to teach us healthy habits world wide. While singing a song about fruits and vegetables we will talk about times we eat fruits and vegetables, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In closing, we will glue all the pictures of fruits and vegetables that we cut and show our classmates our Healthy Foods Collage!
