My Pre-K 4 students practice one-to-one correspondence as they count each segment, match numbers to quantities, and build early number sense through hands-on play. The Magnetic Wonder Tiles invite them to explore shapes, balance, and early engineering. As they build towers, houses, and bridges together, they are also practicing teamwork, problem-solving, and patience when a structure tumbles and they need to try again.\r\n\r\nThe stress cubes and liquid motion bubblers have given my students calming sensory tools to help them manage big feelings. When a child feels frustrated or overwhelmed, they can take a moment with a bubbler or squeeze a stress cube, take some deep breaths, and then return to learning ready to focus. Next, we will keep building these self-regulation skills and use the materials in more math and building challenges throughout the year.
