Flexible seating is not always typical in 4th grade, but my students have fully embraced these opportunities and are thriving because of them. In fact, they loved the lap desks so much that they asked for more and even created a wishlist to expand our collection—showing just how invested they are in their learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe impact has been incredible to watch. Some students now choose to work exclusively in these flexible seating options because they help them focus and feel comfortable. Others are learning how to manage their energy and emotions in productive ways.
