My students absolutely LOVED cooking in the classroom. This vision had so may positive affects in my classroom. The most important was attendance. My attendance skyrocketed once we started to utilize the materials that were donated in this project. Students were also active engaged in the process. We used math and science standards to align with our cooking projects. Most importantly, we love to eat. Students made so many suggestions and recipe ideas. We has so many ideas, that we could hardly contain ourselves. This was such a dream come true as a teacher to provide real life experiences in my classroom. Thanks to your kindness, our classroom now has Kindle devices that are already making a huge impact. The excitement on my students' faces when they first held the Kindles was truly priceless. They've been able to access books that match their interests and reading levels, and I've seen them more engaged and motivated than ever before.
