The kids are love having think sheets that they are able to fill out to describe what is going on and make them think about ways they can help themselves. They are feeling so safe and cared about.\r\n\r\nI have purchased several literacy units that have supported our reading units. We have been Ghandi, Roberto Clemente' and Benjamin Banneker. We have gotten started with painting at the easel. The students do enjoy painting and we are taking the time to teach them how to take care of the brushes once they are finished. \r\nSoon, in a few months, we will move into our paint mixing activities. We will give the students a jar with a few colors of paint in it and ask them to mix it.
