The students enjoyed playing with the games in the Math centers. It was so refreshing to see them enjoy doing Math. Even when the students faced a challenge in the games, someone always helped the student out to help them progress in the game. My students never thought they would have that much fun in Math class.\r\n\r\nWe also have a great time using the grid paper Post-it notes. Having visuals seemed to add to the understanding for most of the students. Since we had reached that point in the curriculum where we were plotting points, having the large grid paper came in handy. It made things easier on me, and the students were able to plot the points on their papers as I modeled it on the Post-it grid paper. We even noticed that the students who may have missed the lesson were able to follow what we did while viewing the grid paper anchor chart that we created.
