Drumming and music has been proven to help with trauma and stress. By giving each of my students a set of drumsticks, my classes can create beats and songs that can help them grow neuropathways and forget about Covid for a while. With their own drumsticks, my students can drum their way through this pandemic in a fun and meaningful way. Students will also learn chords and teamwork using ukuleles to create music with our drummers. We can use these items at home and in school, creating a stage wherever we are.
