The stamps allow me to provide quick feedback on writing. We used the resource book, white boards, and dry erase markers to conduct daily practice on grammar and conventions. \r\n\r\nStudents recently presented writing portfolios at conferences and discussed areas of success and areas of growth. This year, your donation allowed us to serve 56 students every week, and the impact on our school community has been truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nYour support was the perfect addition to our weekly Backpack Program through the Food Bank of Delaware. For our students, this wasn't just about receiving food, it was about the joy of choice. Each week, they lined up with excitement, picking out their favorite snacks, often bringing a friend along to share in the experience. The smiles on their face was all that was needed to prove how impactful this projectwas.\r\n\r\nThe impact didn't stop at the school. We received calls from grateful parents, many expressing that this project not only nourished their child but also helped their entire household. Some parents shared that these extra snacks made household grocies last longer and provided a little extra support during tight weeks. Your generosity was felt all around. \r\n\r\nBecause of you, our students felt cared for, supported, and loved. You turned a simple act of giving into a memory they will carry with them, a reminder that their community cares about them.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of our hearts, thank you for bringing joy, nourishment, and hope to George Read Middle School.","fullyFundedDate":1735014289085,"projectUrl":"project/help-nourish-our-future-donate-for-stud/8838117/","projectTitle":"Help Nourish Our Future: Donate for Students in Need!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sefa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9783284_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727587556482","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9783284"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_44538","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":775,"numTeachers":45,"percentFrplEligible":66,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":43,"percentWhite":26,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":23,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"17.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":37.5,"schoolId":44538,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about George Read Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"George Read Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/delaware/colonial-school-district/george-read-middle-school/44538"}
