Your support has made a meaningful impact on our classroom and our literacy instruction.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, we were able to add high-interest books to our classroom library, giving students more choice and excitement when selecting texts. These books are already encouraging students to read more independently and confidently. We also received literacy games that are being incorporated into our reading conferences, allowing students to practice important skills in an engaging, hands-on way while receiving targeted support.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting additions has been the blank books, which our students are transforming into their own informational books about ecosystems. This project has allowed them to apply what they are learning in reading and science while developing their writing skills and creativity. The pride they feel in authoring their own books is truly inspiring.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and supporting literacy in our classroom. The students are very excited to have a special space to enjoy reading. As most of us know, kindergarten is a very tender age to begin teaching reading and I want my students to love reading as much as I do. That is why I wanted a comfy area for them to read their books.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the bean bags and reading chairs they were so surprised and very excited! They could not believe they had their own special area to read besides their desks. Because of this area, behaviors are down and students want to read in the special area where you must be quiet and well behaved. \r\n\r\nIn conclusion, thank you on behalf of me and my students to the donors. These items and activities have been implemented on a daily basis to help the students reach their goals while also providing fun ways of learning. When students engage in fun and hands on learning activities they are more attentive and motivated to learn, grasps concept more deeply, improve long term memory and develop greater curiosity, creativity and independent thinking. \r\n\r\nBecause of your support, students will have greater access to tools that help strengthen essential literacy skills and open doors to new opportunities. Your support for this project has made a meaningful and lasting impact on my students' daily learning experiences.\r\n\r\nFlexible seating has empowered students to choose learning options that best meet their individual needs. Many students focus more effectively when they are able to move, stretch, or sit in a way that feels comfortable to them. By offering a variety of seating choices, students are more engaged, confident, and prepared to learn. Flexible seating also promotes responsibility, collaboration, and independence as students make thoughtful decisions about their learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe computer charging station has ensured that our technology is always ready for instruction. Students regularly use computers for reading, research, writing, assessments, and creative projects. Having a dedicated charging station minimizes interruptions, preserves valuable instructional time, and allows students to focus on learning rather than worrying about low batteries.\r\n\r\nThe kids' table and chairs have created a welcoming space for small-group instruction, collaboration, and hands-on learning. This area is especially beneficial for students who need additional support, enrichment, or a quieter space to work alongside peers or the teacher. It fosters meaningful conversations, teamwork, and personalized learning opportunities.\r\n\r\nTogether, these resources have transformed our classroom into a flexible, supportive, and student-centered environment—one where all learners feel comfortable, empowered, and excited to grow.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their success. They were excited, curious, and immediately eager to dive in. Within minutes, they were exploring, asking questions, and brainstorming ways to use the new resources in our daily lessons. It was such a joy to watch them interact with tools that truly make learning feel hands-on and accessible.\r\n\r\nWe've already put the materials to work in our classroom. Recently, students used them during a collaborative project focused on building comprehension and problem-solving skills. One group gathered around the table using the resources to break apart a story's characters and events, while another used them to practice organizing their thinking during a reading challenge. These tools have created more engagement, confidence, and independence—especially for students who typically hesitate during academic tasks.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, these materials will continue to support our upcoming literacy units, small-group activities, and independent learning stations. Students are using them daily to deepen their understanding and apply new strategies in meaningful ways. Your generosity has not only enriched our classroom—it has opened new opportunities for growth. Thank you for helping create a space where students feel empowered and excited to learn every day.","fullyFundedDate":1760548524896,"projectUrl":"project/readers-are-a-novel-idea/9827006/","projectTitle":"Readers Are a Novel Idea!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Zambotti","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2763959"},{"teacherId":10312007,"projectId":9828656,"letterContent":"Thank you for adding books to our library.
