This particular class is especially unique. Not only are we all, in some way, military, but we are also a Special Education Inclusion Classroom. Our goal is to educate all students to their highest potential and meet their individual learning goals in a mainstreamed learning environment. This year, our students will be facing yet another challenge; the Smarter Balanced Assessment, which is done completely on the computer. To improve students' performance and familiarity with technology, we need new and reliable classroom computers. These computers will be used every school day by all students. Our school is very old and we have limited access to technology in the classrooms. The teachers in our room strive to reach each child through differentiated instruction and having computers to reinforce the skills at their individual levels would be extremely beneficial.
