Because of you, my students now have access to engaging, high-quality reading resources that are already making a meaningful impact in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWe are using the new materials daily during guided reading and literacy centers. One of the most exciting moments happened during our small-group reading time, when some of my below level readers were actively engaged in learning phonics using our new letter/sound boards. I watched students who were once hesitant to participate, get excited to learn new skills. The resources have helped turn reading into something students look forward to, not something they rush through.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their reactions were priceless. There were gasps, smiles, and lots of \"Can I use this one?\" Several students told me they were excited to take their reading skills \"to the next level,\" which was incredibly rewarding to hear.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our next steps include diving deeper into comprehension strategies such as making inferences, summarizing, and citing evidence from the text. We will also dive deeper into hands on phonics with our special education students. These activities will help strengthen both their reading and writing skills while building confidence and a love for literacy.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly made a difference in our classroom. Your kindness and support have made a meaningful difference in the daily learning experiences of our students and teachers, and I truly appreciate the time and care you put into helping our school community.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donation, our classroom has been transformed into a more organized, engaging, and positive learning environment. The organizing cart for teachers has been especially helpful, allowing instructional materials to be easily accessed and lessons to run more smoothly. This has given teachers more time to focus on what matters most—supporting students and guiding their learning.\r\n\r\nThe supply organizers and drawers for students have also had a tremendous impact. Students now have designated spaces to keep their notebooks and other belongs, which has helped them develop responsibility, independence, and pride in their classroom. Having an organized place for their materials has reduced distractions and created a calmer, more focused environment for learning. \r\n\r\nIn addition, the whiteboards have become one of the most loved tools in our classroom. Students use them frequently to practice Chinese characters and math problems, and they are eager to participate during lessons. The whiteboards encourage hands-on learning, quick feedback, and active engagement, making lessons more interactive and enjoyable. \r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and commitment to education. The students have really benefited from the resources! The organization bins are being utilized to improve the students' independence when working on their reading goals. The curriculum books and cards have also been an added resource in our classroom. They are helping to meet students' individual needs! We have used them to deepen students' level of comprehension and connection to on-level text! They have been a great resource to meet students' needs in an engaging way! The textbooks that were donated are awesome additions to our class library! It has added new genres for the students to explore! We are also thoroughly enjoying the math games! We use them in our math center rotations to add some fun while learning! \r\nAs the packages were delivered, the students were excited to see what was being donated to our classroom! They could not wait for me to open them! Thanks again for being so willing to make a difference in our classroom! \r\nOur next project is classroom terrariums! We've really enjoyed being able to add them to our classroom seating options, and they pair perfectly with the center activities we also received. The new titles reflected a wide range of reading levels, cultures, interests, and genres, allowing every child—from emerging readers to more advanced students—to find books that truly excited them. Students were eager to read, shared recommendations with peers, and showed increased enthusiasm during library time.\r\n\r\nAs a result, we saw noticeable growth in reading engagement and confidence. Students who were previously reluctant readers became more willing to choose books independently, sustain reading time, and talk about what they were reading. Teachers and staff observed stronger connections between students and texts, which supported both literacy development and a love of reading that extends beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful to the donors who made this project possible. These seats have transformed our learning environment into a space where students feel safe, calm, and ready to do their best reading. \r\n\r\nFor many of my students, having a choice in where they sit helps them regulate their energy, stay engaged longer, and take more ownership of their learning. The cozy floor seats give them exactly that: comfort, independence, and a sense of belonging. It's amazing to see how something so simple can create such a powerful shift in their confidence and motivation in reading.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has made our classroom feel more like a home—one where every student feels valued and supported. The students were stunned when they entered the classroom and saw the enormous bulky boxes. Their eyes were so wide! The excitement of curiosity was so spenceful. Upon opening the boxes the students were jumping for joy to have a cushion chair to read their chapter books during independent reading time. \r\nFrom the day the cushion chairs were delivered, the students have been using them to read during our 30 minute reading time daily. One student told me that they didn't realize how quickly the time flies by when reading while using the cushion chair. Another student said, \"Mrs. Nichols, thank you so much for getting the cushion chairs for us. I am enjoying being able to relax on it and dive deep into my book.\" The cushion chairs are developing lifelong readers in the classroom to inspire the students to read daily. \r\nLastly, thank you for the donation of the figurative language game.
