"Look at their cool seats!! I wish my class had those seats" one of my students said as we walked down the hallway. This classroom that we walked by had wobble chairs, comfy floor seats, bean bag, and much more!! As we walked by I had the same feeling as my student and I was very intrigued myself. Will students perform better in more comfortable seats? So, I spoke with the teacher and I actually tested out the wobble chair. I LOVED it!! The teacher let me borrow a wobble chair for a few weeks and the students loved it!! I saw my students more engaged as they did not have to sit on the uncomfortable chair and actually not think about how uncomfortable their body was. The students were so much more engaged while working and all the students wanted to sit on the stool. My hope is to have a stool for everyone so they can do their best work and not focus on how uncomfortable their body is working!
