When the board games arrived, my students were thrilled. Some immediately recognized the games and couldn't wait to explain the rules, while others were excited just to explore the pieces and take their first turns. The excitement and anticipation set the tone for sessions that felt fun, welcoming, and engaging for every learner.\r\n\r\nWe now use these games across a wide range of speech and language goals. Some students practice articulation by producing target sounds each time they take a turn, while others work on vocabulary, sentence formulation, or answering questions during game play. Many students also benefit from practicing turn-taking, flexible thinking, and conversational skills as they interact with peers. Because everyone is playing the same game, I'm able to differentiate support within small groups and meet each student where they are.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students are more motivated to participate, more willing to take risks with their speech, and more engaged with one another. Moving forward, we'll continue using these games to build more complex language, strengthen social communication, and help students carry these skills into the classroom and beyond. When the materials arrived, my students were immediately excited. Seeing the car ramp, stacking cups, shape sorter, Spike the Fine Motor Hedgehog, critter clinic, and Grab That Donut sparked big smiles, eager questions, and lots of hands reaching to explore. Their enthusiasm made it clear that these tools would be meaningful additions to our speech room.\r\n\r\nWe now use these resources during speech sessions to support early communication, play, and fine motor development. Students race cars down the ramp while practicing words like \"go\" and \"more\", use the critter clinic and Spike the Hedgehog to request, label, and take turns, and explore concepts such as in/out and big/little through stacking and sorting activities. These hands-on tools keep students engaged and motivated, allowing learning to happen naturally through play.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students are communicating more, interacting with peers, and staying engaged for longer periods of time. As we continue our work, we'll build on these skills by encouraging longer phrases, more pretend play, and early social interactions that prepare students for kindergarten and beyond. The large construction paper organizer, Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, Bengali and Haitian Creole bilingual books, electric stapler, carpet sweeper, and dust pan and broom have all made a meaningful difference in our daily learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe construction paper organizer has saved our large construction paper from being damaged. It also helped us keep materials neat and accessible, saving time and allowing students to transition smoothly into art and project-based activities. The TPT gift card has enabled me to access high-quality lessons and resources that better meet my students' diverse learning needs. The electric stapler and cleaning supplies have also been incredibly helpful in keeping our classroom organized, efficient, and welcoming for students each day.\r\n\r\nThe bilingual books have been especially impactful. Our Bengali and Haitian Creole speaking students were thrilled to see books that reflect their languages and cultures. These students are especially enjoying the books. The books have helped them feel seen and valued. It has been wonderful to watch students connect more deeply with reading because they see themselves represented.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting both the learning and the well-being of our classroom community. The student work bins have helped us stay organized and independent—students now know exactly where to find and turn in their work, which has made transitions smoother and increased their sense of responsibility.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new rug and bins, they were so excited!
