Students are actively engaged playing these games both by themselves and with their peers. Students are building their social emotional skills by collaborating with peers, problem solving and working on confliction resolution skills. It is so wonderful to see their excitement as well as the growth they are making in mastering these skills. Getting new school supplies is always great. The kids love having something new to use. \r\nWe use whiteboards daily and always need fresh markers. The boards just don't last that long with daily use. We all know that nothing lasts that long anymore :) The tape that I use allows me to hang their work in the hallway on the painted concrete walls without it falling down. \r\nMy students were excited to see the boxes when they arrived knowing that surprises await them. The birthday certificates are great! I love leaving my students a card, sticker, and pencil on their special day. Then at the end of the day, we sing to the birthday boy or girl, and then they choose a prize from the treasure box. \r\nI have also added prizes to our monthly raffle. The kids found the stretchy fidget tools very interesting, love the mochi squishy toys (no matter how many they already have), enjoy smelling the smelly stickers placed on their work, and the other prizes. I think the biggest hit was the mini stuffed animals though. My students asked if more could be added the next raffle and I replied, \"Of course!\"\r\nI'll include some pictures so you could see our treasures.","fullyFundedDate":1732298839779,"projectUrl":"project/getting-ready-for-a-new-year/8593389/","projectTitle":"Getting Ready for a New Year!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Zwolinski","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/zwolinski"},{"teacherId":9763825,"projectId":8802420,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for funding this project for my classroom.
