Sitting and reading quietly in a classroom could be difficult especially when students are full of energy. This flexible seating will afford my students the opportunity to wiggle and still focus on reading and completing their tasks​. After sitting through our mini-lesson of the day, the students go off and practice what they just learned in a "just right" book of their choice from their book bin. When a student is sitting comfortably and has a book they like, they are much more likely to stay on task and truly put into practice the lesson. After building on this each day, the student develops into a confident reader eager to learn!
