Having access to these texts will allow my learners to be hands on in implementing the skill we are working on. My classroom library is limited with when it comes to lower level texts and non-fiction. Many of my students are struggling readers who are in need of lower level texts and these books are the answer. Having a wide range of books available in the classroom will allow readers of all levels to complete activities and enjoy reading. In addition the supplemental materials will be used to help strengthen various skills. All students in my class are at different levels so they can sometimes get discouraged. Being able to access resources to help them grow will be a huge factor in helping each individual gain confidence.
