Your donations of books, whiteboards, pens, stickers, markers, and other classroom supplies have made such a meaningful difference in the way my students learn, express themselves, and connect with one another.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students have access to engaging books that help us explore important social-emotional skills and life lessons. We use these stories to teach essential skills such as identifying and expressing emotions, developing empathy, practicing kindness, building positive relationships, solving problems, making thoughtful choices, and understanding different perspectives. The books have become an important part of our classroom conversations, and my students absolutely love them!\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding parts of using these books is seeing how deeply my students connect with the characters and stories. They often share their own experiences, ask thoughtful questions, and listen carefully to one another's ideas. Our reading discussions have led to some truly deep and meaningful conversations. Students are learning that it is okay to have different feelings and perspectives, and they are becoming more comfortable expressing themselves and hearing the thoughts of their classmates.\r\n\r\nThe additional supplies you provided allow students to take their learning beyond simply reading a story. Our whiteboards and pens give students opportunities to respond to questions, share their thinking, and demonstrate their understanding in a fun and interactive way. Markers, stickers, and other creative supplies allow students to make crafts, drawings, and other projects that connect directly to our lessons. These activities give students another way to process what they have learned and express ideas that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.\r\n\r\nI have especially enjoyed watching students become excited when they see the materials ready for a new lesson. A book can spark a conversation, a simple drawing can help a student communicate a feeling, and a creative project can turn an important lesson into something they will remember. Your donations have helped create a classroom environment where learning is hands-on, engaging, and meaningful.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your generosity sends my students a powerful message: that their learning, their voices, and their emotional well-being matter. You have helped provide resources that encourage curiosity, creativity, communication, and connection.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping make our SEL classroom a place where they can read, create, reflect, share, and grow. Your kindness is having an impact every day, and I am so grateful that you are a part of our classroom community.","fullyFundedDate":1785520958807,"projectUrl":"project/social-emotional-learning-through-books/10392280/","projectTitle":"Social Emotional Learning Through Books","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rubush","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2309275_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1538784403564","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2309275"},{"teacherId":252966,"projectId":10201557,"letterContent":"Our new color laser printer has quickly become an essential tool in the music room. Having access to high-quality color printing allows me to create clear, engaging materials that support student learning every day. I have used the printer to create signs and visual aids for the classroom, helping students navigate the music room independently and reinforcing important musical concepts and procedures.\r\n\r\nThe printer has also made it possible to provide students with printed music and practice materials when they need them. Students can now take home clean, professional-looking copies of their music, making it easier for them to practice and prepare for performances. The ability to print materials on demand has improved lesson preparation, increased student access to resources, and reduced delays caused by limited printing options.\r\n\r\nBecause of this project, I am able to spend more time creating meaningful instructional materials that support student success. Whether students are following printed music, using visual supports around the classroom, or preparing for a concert, the printer helps ensure they have the resources they need to learn and grow as musicians. Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible and for investing in the musical education of our students.","fullyFundedDate":1777976454543,"projectUrl":"project/colorful-learning-one-page-at-a-time/10201557/","projectTitle":"Colorful Learning, One Page at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Ramirez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp252966_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y504&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1598751515471","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ramirezmusic"},{"teacherId":252966,"projectId":10269095,"letterContent":"These drumstick holders have helped keep our mallets and accidental bars organized and within easy reach. Even more exciting, we brought it to our Hispanic Heritage Month performance at Brien McMahon High School. Surrounded by schools from across the district, our students performed with pride and one of the Assistant Superintendents told us afterward that we \"stole the show!\" That moment meant everything to our kids.\r\n\r\nYour support didn't just purchase an instrument, it gave our students the experience of performing at a higher level, feeling prepared, and being recognized for their excellence.
