Because of you, my 8th-grade students now have access to new, high-interest books that they are genuinely excited to read—and that excitement has made a real difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThe books you donated quickly became a central part of our daily learning. Students used them for independent reading, small-group discussions, and written responses. What stood out most was how engaged they were: students who were previously reluctant readers were suddenly asking, \"Can we read a little longer?\" and \"Can I take this book home tonight?\" Our class discussions became richer as students shared reactions to characters, debated choices made in the story, and made thoughtful predictions about what might happen next. Many students were reading well beyond what was required simply because they wanted to keep going.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments happened during a class discussion when a normally quiet student raised their hand to share a personal connection to the book we were reading. That moment sparked a meaningful conversation among classmates, and I could see students listening to one another with empathy and respect. The books created a shared experience that helped build confidence, connection, and a stronger classroom community.\r\n\r\nYour donation did more than provide books—it helped students see themselves as readers. It showed them that people outside of their school believe in them and care about their education. That message is powerful, and it will stay with them long after this school year ends.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and for helping create a classroom filled with curiosity, conversation, and a love of reading.
