Right now, the chairs are right by our back book shelf. The kids have been able to do quiet work, comfortably, as well as use it as a space to decompress when the day may be too much for them. \r\nI teach many students who come from underprivileged backgrounds. Many of them do not see the benefits of such generous donations. The new additions to our classroom are an uplifting area of our classroom. \r\nWhen the kids first saw the chairs, they really could not believe we actually got them. I had mentioned the fact that I wanted to get them, but once they saw how nice and comfortable they were, they instantly got excited. I needed to make a system for kids to be able to use them. We have a good schedule right now so that everyone has the opportunity to use them. They also have been showing a great deal of respect for the chairs which further shows their appreciation. Right now the kids have been using the chairs to read or do quiet projects.
