All of the items that were purchased through this project have created a calm, relaxing and comfortable environment for my students. \r\n\r\nCreating a soothing classroom environment has been very beneficial, helping to create a sensory calming space that encourages relaxation and focus. The \"Everyone is Welcome\" motivational bulletin board set has been a focal point in my classroom and many teachers have complimented this calm space when they enter my classroom. The \"Everyone is Welcome\" alphabet bulletin board and number line have been great additions to my classroom. In addition, the calming blue and light mauve bulletin board borders, along with the \"Everyone is Welcome\" heart border look great in the classroom. \r\n\r\nAs research has shown, calming colors like light shades of blue, pink and green in a classroom can significantly benefit students by promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving concentration, allowing them to focus better on academic tasks without feeling overwhelmed by visual stimulation. The calming colors on the storage rolling carts, bulletin boards, and walls have provided a very calm, comfortable classroom for my first graders!
