There are no language classes at my school. It's the only middle school in the district that doesn't have one. This technology has already become an exciting part of our students' learning experience. Students are using Tinkercad to design their own 3D creations, which gives them an opportunity to apply math, geometry, problem-solving, creativity, and technology skills in a hands-on way. Instead of simply learning concepts on a screen or worksheet, they can design something and then actually hold the finished product in their hands.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for our students is watching an idea go from their computer screen to a physical object. There is something incredibly motivating about designing an item in Tinkercad, sending it to the printer, and seeing it slowly come to life. We have been using the printer to create items for our school store, student prizes, classroom tools, and other projects. Students are constantly asking what they can design next, and the printer has created a new level of excitement around STEM, engineering, and creative problem-solving.\r\n\r\nSome of the students who have really embraced the technology are those who may not always see themselves as traditional \"math students.\" The 3D printer gives them another way to demonstrate their strengths through creativity, spatial reasoning, persistence, and design.
