We've incorporated the volleyballs, soccer balls, hula hoops, and footballs into structured skill units where students are practicing passing, teamwork, and game strategy. One moment that stood out was during a small-sided soccer activity where students were communicating, encouraging each other, and fully engaged—something that doesn't always happen without the right equipment available for everyone.\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their reaction was immediate excitement. They were asking to use everything right away and couldn't believe the equipment was theirs to use in class. It created a buzz in the gym that carried into our lessons, and participation has noticeably increased since then.\r\nLooking ahead, we are building on this momentum by continuing our team sports units and incorporating more student-led activities. Students will be working on setting personal goals, tracking their progress, and applying the skills they've learned in game situations. These resources are helping us create a more active, inclusive, and engaging environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.\r\nThank you again for making this possible for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1765461651238,"projectUrl":"project/from-the-sidelines-to-the-game-get-all/9953369/","projectTitle":"From the Sidelines to the Game: Get ALL Students Moving","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Wigder","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5979736"},{"teacherId":115949,"projectId":9807714,"letterContent":"We have already put your donation of paper to good use !
