Because of your generosity, my students now have an incredible collection of logic puzzles, brain teasers, and high-interest books that will challenge them to think in new and exciting ways. Whether they're unraveling the mysteries in The Eleventh Hour, stretching their deductive reasoning with Stories with Holes and Word Plexers, navigating the twists of a Perplexus maze, or tackling the endless possibilities of a Rubik's puzzle, these materials encourage perseverance, flexible thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. Our nonfiction titles, including The Way Things Work, George's Secret Key to the Universe, and Astrophysics for Young People in a Hurry, will spark curiosity, inspire deeper questioning, and help students make meaningful connections across science, engineering, mathematics, and literacy. Even the art supplies will support innovation as students sketch designs, illustrate solutions, and communicate their thinking visually.\r\n\r\nOne of the greatest gifts you have given my students is the opportunity to embrace productive struggle. Gifted learners thrive when they encounter challenges that require patience, resilience, and multiple approaches—and these resources do exactly that. They invite students to collaborate, debate ideas, test hypotheses, revise their thinking, and celebrate the joy of finally solving a difficult problem. Your kindness is helping create a classroom where curiosity is celebrated, critical thinking is nurtured, and every student has opportunities to stretch beyond what they thought was possible.
