Much has been learned about how a child learns to read. We know now that having decodable texts at an early age is critical. \r\n\r\nIt has been a joy to watch my kids look at and read together these new books. The pictures are colorful and up-to-date and the stories are fun. My favorite are the nonfiction books which are the most popular in my class. The class favorite is a book called Big Cats.
