Your support has truly made a meaningful impact, and my students feel it every day. \r\n\r\nThe excitement in our room has been incredible. Students love using the new materials, and the anchor charts have become a favorite tool. They use them for reflection activities, studying for test and even brainstorming ideas for their community service project, where they have decided to collect toys to donate to Christmas Unlimited. Your donation is helping them learn the value of giving back.\r\n\r\nThe paper cutter has been especially helpful allowing my finance students to create their own finance games and has made my planning time much more efficient. I am now able to prep for more time for meaningful instruction and interaction.\r\n\r\nThe scented markers have added a fun and encouraging twist to grading test and students love the celebratory scents when they see their success. \r\n\r\nThe whiteboard markers are used daily during lectures and review games, helping students test their understanding and prepare confidently for their midterms.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in my students and supporting the work we do your generosity brings excitement, creativity, and opportunity into our classroom and we are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1756902073170,"projectUrl":"project/bring-back-the-basics/9669689/","projectTitle":"Bring Back the Basics","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. HUNSAKER","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9634453"},{"teacherId":8925764,"projectId":8575511,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donations to my classroom. We were missing something crucial! The visual aids that tablets bring to math lessons not only helps to reach modern diverse learners, but it also prepares students for using these tools outside of the classroom. Notably, this is helpful for students preparing to take the SAT exams since the SAT now has Desmos (an online graphing calculator) built into the exam. Its also just fun!\r\n\r\nIn my algebra 2 and Trigonometry classrooms, the use of Demos from the tablets has been particularly useful as these classes rely heavily on graphing. While the students still graph by hand more than 50% of the time, being able to set up Desmos to create base equations and assign sliders to the different variables gives student a clearer picture of the manipulations we perform on our different equations. \r\n\r\nI look forward to being able to further broaden my lessons as we continue to realize the potential of these tools.
