Power Technical Early College is a new grades 6-14 public charter school that allows students to earn a degree in a blue collar trade while completing a high quality Core Knowledge education. PTEC students focus on career and vocational education aimed at earning stackable industry certifications and credits. Each day, our students participate in 90 minutes of hands-on learning through our 4 skills shops. The goal is to help these students transition directly into the workforce or build on their experience to earn a degree in their chosen specialization. The mission of James Irwin Charter Schools and PTEC is to help guide students in the development of their character through academically rigorous, content rich educational programs. I hope you can contribute to the projects that will make my classroom a delight for teachers and learners alike!
