There are six early childhood classrooms at my school. I was so excited to share with my teammates how you fully funded my Singin' and Playin' in the Rain project. I also couldn't wait to share the WHY.\r\n\r\nThis year we have been doing a book study on learning through play. It's a book that makes me feel like I'm not always doing enough of this \"play\" stuff because of the pressures of being in a public school setting. I have always worked in Title 1 schools which sometimes means I am buying the supplies, I'm purchasing coats, etc...\r\n\r\nI started thinking about what THESE kids (post CoVid) need from us and it's play!
