Money is always an issue on multiple levels. There is never enough. With administrators controlling funds, it makes it difficult to meet the immediate and individual needs of your students from year to year.\r\n\r\nIn my new school we have a budget of $250.00 for our classroom. This is a generous amount but I am buying things like dry erase markers and sentence strips. Do I really need to use my class funds to pay for something that should be a given supply?\r\n\r\nYour generous donations allow us to ever so slightly cross that boundary from necessity to \"luxury\" if you will. Things like art supplies for kids to create projects that represent them. (Colored/skin color pencils provided by you)\r\n\r\nOur curriculum requires kids to be on computers for a bit, your generous donation allowed for me to buy earbuds for the kiddos, they go through them like water! \r\n\r\nYour gracious donation allowed for basic supplies and some drawer systems for teaching independence and responsibility. \r\n\r\nPart of the learning process of your generosity is teaching first graders to appreciate others' kindness and generosity. We received a new PA System, courtesy of you and your generosity via DonorsChoose.\r\n\r\nWe would like to take this opportunity to give you a big shout out, and of course a BIG THANK YOU! Our school has been in need of something like this for quite some time.\r\n\r\nWith this new PA System, we're able to move up from the old, outdated model, into something digital. Since this new system has bluetooth, we've been able to swap all our music files into a digital format, and use the new PA system accordingly.
