I wanted to share how your donation has helped our students.\r\nThe whiteboards are used every day during small-group instruction. They allow me to work closely with students and help fill in learning gaps so each child can build a stronger foundation.\r\nStudents have been especially excited about the Dragon Ball Z and Amulet books. We have created a small classroom library that students in grades 2–5 can visit. Because our school does not currently have the budget for a librarian, this gives our students the opportunity to check out real books and develop a genuine love of reading.\r\nThe candy is used as an incentive for students as they work through a math program. Research shows that as students progress to higher levels, the math achievement gap becomes smaller, so these small rewards help keep them motivated to keep pushing forward.\r\nThe noise-canceling headphones have also made a big difference. They help our classroom run smoothly while students work in different ways—whether that's group work, partner work, or individual assignments.\r\nThank you again for your generosity and for supporting the students at Colfax.
