Their faces beamed as they looked at the squishies, fidgets, slime, putty, and so much more.\r\n\r\nOne student shared that he was going to use his \"bucks\" to buy a birthday present for his brother. Another said he was most excited about the birdhouse kits. Yet another student was happy to see the fidgets because her mom had been unable to find the ones we have in our store.\r\n\r\nPre-K through 5th grade students are learning the value of saving and how to be financially responsible. People make choices hundreds, if not thousands, of times each day, and we are encouraging our students to make positive choices. We also want them to understand that negative choices have consequences. Sometimes, those consequences may mean having to pay bills instead of going to the store.\r\n\r\nOur store will be open all year and will continue to encourage students in a positive and meaningful way. Families are also encouraged to donate items. Your support has made an immediate and meaningful impact in our classroom.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students have already begun putting these new tools to incredible use. They recently completed a detailed boat study where they explored design structure, balance, and function while learning how to create in 3D space. Students carefully analyzed shapes, proportions, and stability before bringing their ideas to life digitally. Watching them move from concept to creation was truly inspiring.\r\n\r\nIn addition, students designed and produced individualized keychains that reflected their personalities and interests. This project allowed them to apply measurement, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving skills while also expressing their creativity. The excitement in the room when they held their finished pieces was unforgettable. They are already eager to continue expanding their understanding of 3D design and digital art.\r\n\r\nThese tools are not just benefiting this group of students—they will impact many future classes. Having access to high-quality digital resources empowers students to think critically, innovate boldly, and explore creative solutions in ways that were not previously possible. They are gaining hands-on experience with skills that connect directly to real-world technology, design, and STEM careers.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has given my students the opportunity to see themselves as designers, engineers, and creators.
