I have just gotten my dream job as a kindergarten teacher, but before I have even met my students, I can tell the current desks in my classroom will hinder their ability to learn basic skills. They have very little storage space and a poor writing surface. The desks were donated from an old school, so they are very worn to begin with. In addition, the teacher before me decided to paint the tops of them space-themed. Unfortunately, that left the tops of the desk rough and bumpy, which will be a huge problem once my kindies start to write! I can hear the frustration already! They deserve the best space to learn and I would give it to them in the heartbeat if I had the money. Please consider donating to these wonderful kids!
