They were able to create engaging projects. Just last week, two students who had been struggling with a long-standing conflict finally sat down together and had a real, open conversation. My flex seating in my classroom now is one of the most sought by all of my students in and outside of my co-taught classrooms. Here we learned about the history of chess then got to try playing it. In math we learned practical skills by cooking dumplings during our unit on fractions.
