Having access to meaningful sensory tools can make such a significant difference in a child's ability to feel calm, organized, comfortable, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThe sensory items you provided have already been incredibly helpful. My students have been able to use the tools to better regulate their bodies, which has helped them participate more successfully in the school day. I have seen them become more settled, focused, and available for learning and engagement. Something as simple as having the right sensory support at the right moment can make a world of difference for a child who may otherwise feel overwhelmed or unable to access the classroom experience.\r\n\r\nWhat I especially appreciate is that your generosity is not simply providing \"things\"—you are providing opportunities. When the boxes arrived in our classroom, the students were both curious and surprised by what was donated to us! With your support, we were able to get 4 of each of the following types of flexible seating: Reclining Chairs, Cube Chairs, Wobble Dots, Bean bag Chairs, and Dot Cushions. I really wanted to create a learning space that was comfortable of all types of learners and their needs. The carpet is a place where we can be close to the projector so I can ensure students are \"locked in\" and ready to learn. With your generous support, I feel confident that students are comfortable and actively engaged in learning.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving us the opportunity to thrive in the classroom, starting with a seat that makes us feel comfortable and supported.
