My students have been using all of the equipment to take photos of our campus and students for our online news site and the yearbook. Being able to take photos from a distance has not only improved the photos but has given them important professional knowledge of photography that will help them outside of school.\r\n\r\nThey have also started a weekly broadcast on news happening on campus. They have been able to conduct on-the-street style interviews with students with the lavalier microphones and gimble. They have also used the headphones to edit the videos. Creating Youtube videos that showcase the day's lesson has allowed students to catch up on work without having to schedule time with me outside of school. For students who have jobs, family obligations, and other time commitments (that they also need to catch up on after being sick), it is a godsend. \r\n\r\nIt has been especially helpful in a time when absences are on the rise in education. I have more students absent and tardy today than I have had in over 10 years of being a teaching.
