During the event, students who were once nervous or anxious about presenting stood proudly next to their boards, eager to share what they had learned.\r\n\r\nFamilies were thrilled to see their children's hard work come to life and celebrate their success. The awards and certificates made each student feel recognized and valued for their effort and curiosity. This experience not only strengthened their confidence but also inspired them to keep exploring and asking questions like true scientists. Today at the start of advisory, my students greeted me at the door by asking if our packages had arrived. When I sent them to the office to check, they ran downstairs with excitement.\r\nWe were thrilled to discover that most of our materials are already here. I stepped back and let the students open all the boxes, share snacks with each other, and marvel at the amazing LEGO Millennium Falcon set. The students were so excited that they took the LEGO set into the hallway to show other classes what an amazing set it was. Then they worked together to open it and make a game plan for putting it together in a way that gave everyone a chance to participate.\r\nThis was just the first day, but it was so lovely to see students talking to each other (without cell phones!) and problem-solving a fun task together.
