These texts are a path to that success. They will be able to access information that is critical to their development. The critical thinking skills they will earn through these readings will allow them to question the message and the messenger in the future. This will allow them to look for other silenced voices and educate themselves on why these voices are being silence. These students greatly benefit from having materials provided for them and the calculators and pencil pouches are just for them! Many of these students are taking advanced math courses and need a calculator for studying or to use in their class. It is great to have a supply for them when they need them.
