My students are full of life and energy. They are excited to learn and discover new things. They do require extra supports to learn and access their education in a manner similar to that of their typically developing peers. Our school serves a diverse population of students. Our campus is the only elementary school which serves the moderate to severely disabled population. Many of my students are impacted both physically and cognitively. I currently have a classroom iPad which is used throughout the school day. I share it with my ten students, which means that there is only a small portion of time allotted to each child.
