Your generosity has made a meaningful difference for the students who visit our College & Career Center each day.\r\n\r\nThe snacks quickly became one of the most appreciated resources. During finals, college workshops, and daily meetings, students were able to grab a snack and recharge before returning to class or working on important post-graduation tasks. Many students expressed how much they appreciated having something available during the school day, especially when they had busy schedules or were balancing school, work, and family responsibilities.\r\n\r\nThe supplies and organizational materials have also transformed our space. Students use these resources while completing applications, career planning activities, and graduation crafts. When students first saw the new materials and improvements to the center, they were excited and grateful. The resources helped create a cleaner, more organized, and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable seeking support and planning for their futures.\r\n\r\nThe graduation decorations were another highlight of the project. During graduation week, we used the decorations to celebrate our seniors and create a festive atmosphere in the College & Career Center. Students loved taking photos with the decorations and celebrating their accomplishments with friends. It was wonderful to see students pause and enjoy these special moments as they reflected on how far they had come and prepared for their next chapter.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was seeing students gather in the College & Career Center during finals and graduation week. They were using the supplies, enjoying snacks, taking pictures with the graduation decorations, and supporting one another as they prepared for life after high school. These moments helped create a sense of community and celebration during a very important time in their lives.\r\n\r\nAs we look ahead, these resources will continue to help future students explore college and career opportunities, complete financial aid applications, apply for scholarships, and prepare for life after high school. Your support has created an impact that extends far beyond a single school year.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and helping us fuel their futures.","fullyFundedDate":1777139757614,"projectUrl":"project/fueling-futures-snacks-supplies-and-ce/10181326/","projectTitle":"Fueling Futures: Snacks, Supplies and Celebrating Our Seniors","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Aileen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10375520_orig.jpg?crop=844,844,x30,y18&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764901292980","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10375520"},{"teacherId":1035670,"projectId":9518475,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support in providing scientific calculators, Chromebook chargers, and acrylic organizers for my high school math and computer science classes. These resources have already made a meaningful difference in our day-to-day learning. I now keep the calculators and chargers available for students to borrow whenever they need them, which has been incredibly helpful in ensuring that everyone can stay engaged and participate fully in lessons. Whether we're solving equations or working through coding exercises, students are able to continue learning without interruption—something that wasn't always possible before.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were genuinely excited and appreciative. Many of them immediately expressed gratitude, recognizing how these supplies would make their work easier and more accessible. It was a great moment to see them feel supported and equipped to succeed. Even small things—like having a charger when their device is about to die—have reduced stress and helped them stay focused on learning.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students are continuing to build on their skills through current projects in math problem-solving and computer science applications. With reliable access to calculators and charged devices, they are better prepared to dive deeper into lessons, collaborate with peers, and complete assignments with confidence.
