We are able to change the path of running water by placing a portable speaker near the stream. By changing the frequency, volume, and bass, we were able to see the water oscillating, but at a much smaller visible level than what we originally saw online. \r\nThe class found this fascinating as we saw this experiment online and wanted to try it for ourselves as we had so many sceptics. It didn't work as expected as the hose needed to be touching the speaker and a slow motion tripod mounted camera was used. \r\nThe entire class was excited about this and as we researched more we realized that we were a little limited as to what could be accomplished in the classroom or hallway. The entire class had a great time with this and want to continue to accomplish what we saw and weren't able to achieve.","fullyFundedDate":1746555716050,"projectUrl":"project/stem-3d-printer-accessories-and-music/9036554/","projectTitle":"STEM (3D Printer Accessories) and Music","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. DeVore","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1741425_orig.jpg?crop=1391,1391,x1542,y493&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1677167846289","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mdevore"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_28702","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":469,"numTeachers":27,"percentFrplEligible":23,"percentAsian":9,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":46,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":30,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"17.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":94.8,"schoolId":28702,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about North Park Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"North Park Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/saugus-union-school-district/north-park-elementary-school/28702"}
