This project of 2000 pencils may seem like a small thing, but let me tell you, it was HUGE! My middle schoolers just LOVE to eat pencils! \r\n\r\nNow with all the new pencils we do not have to waste time searching backpacks and the ground for an extra pencil to use in class. No longer do we have to wait to sharpen pencils, losing precious instructional time. Students simply grab a pencil and get started with their work, no fuss, no anxiety, no delay. It's just wonderful and takes a ton of stress off of me. \r\n\r\nThank you again for helping us out! Your generosity has helped to create a safe space that allows students to have alternative activities during lunch and before school, especially on inclement weather days. \r\n\r\nThe puzzle board is wildly popular and students love interacting with one another and creating connections with others they may not interact with outside during lunch or before school.\r\n\r\nThe puzzle board also provides a place for us to work together on projects since the board is a lazy Susan style board. Before we got four more wobble seats, student would fight over the few we had and someone was always disappointed. Students now know there are plenty of wobble seats and everyone is comfortable and have less barriers to learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the wobble stools first arrived, my seventh period class could not believe it. They came to class all excited because they \"heard\" there were new wobble seats, but didn't believe it! \"Is it true?!!!\" they said to me as they came into class. When they saw it was true, it was like Christmas! So many smiles.\r\n\r\nEven a few months later, the wobble seats are having a positive impact and every once in a while they say, \"Remember when we didn't have enough wobble seats? That was so crazy!
