This has led to fewer classroom interruptions and has helped foster a sense of independence and dignity among students.\r\n\r\nA specific moment that stands out was when a group of students collaborated to create informative posters for the bathrooms. These posters explain the importance of menstrual health and encourage respect for the resources, ensuring they remain available to everyone who needs them. This initiative showed how deeply invested our students are in supporting one another and normalizing the conversation around menstruation.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the stocked bins in the bathrooms, their reactions were a mix of surprise and relief. Many expressed gratitude that their needs were being considered and addressed in such a thoughtful and proactive way. One student shared, \"It's amazing to see that the school cares enough to provide this for us—it makes me feel like we're being heard and respected.\"\r\n\r\nTheir positive feedback highlighted just how meaningful this project is to them. As a next step, our students are brainstorming ideas to expand access to these and other resources, including them in other parts of the school or creating take-home kits for students who need them.\r\n\r\nThrough this project, our students have not only gained access to necessary resources but also found an opportunity to advocate for themselves and their peers.
