We need to get our hands on some locks and boxes! BreakoutEDU activities are an ideal jumping-off point, as they can be leveraged to launch an academic learning unit, engage student learning, marshal critical background knowledge in an inventive way, and compel students to struggle with difficult problem-solving tasks. Help my kids learn how to build BreakoutEDU styled immersive narrative escape room experiences that can thereafter be used in all of their classes! During our next Intersession Design Challenge, we plan to use the BreakoutEDU platform to both inspire and challenge my senior student designers to create engaging academic experiences for our school's underclassmen. If we make our goal, not only will the seniors become better storytellers and designers, but the underclassmen will be able to enjoy student-designed escape room experiences in their core content classes!
