My students use the whiteboard markers every day to practice writing and extend their learning. The basics keep routines in place and the school year smooth! However, their favorite items by far have been the Big Books!\r\n\r\nWe started the school year with the supplies you provided, and my students have absolutely fallen in love with the large print and even larger pictures. Chrysanthemum has been their favorite so far. I put it out as a book they can read during our reading and choice time, and it has been the first book they pick every time.\r\n\r\nI have the books displayed in our classroom for easy reference, and as we have been exploring our names, the themes and topics covered in Chrysanthemum have really reached the hearts of so many of my students. I have many students from all over the world and hearing their name and how special it is, will always be important! It has been such a meaningful way to connect our learning to their own experiences.\r\n\r\nWe also read If You Give a Pig a Pancake! as we continued our Kindergarten review. We learned about the letter P, read the story together, and even enjoyed pancakes! That special experience was all thanks to you.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make these moments possible in my classroom.
