Through these books purchased, students can make historical and real-world connections, and because many of the books align with our history curriculum, students are also able to develop the ability to consider multiple perspectives, recognize bias, and think critically about complex historical events. Having access to engaging books outside of the textbook encourages students to read beyond what is required in class, and these books are helping to develop students to become more thoughtful contributors during class discussions as well. Because of your generosity, our students now have access to the essential materials they need to learn, create, and succeed each day. What may seem like simple supplies—paper, pens, notebooks, folders, and other everyday tools—make a tremendous difference in a classroom like ours.\r\nAt Mira Loma High School, many of our students come from families where resources are limited. As a Title I school, we are proud to serve a diverse and hardworking community, but we also recognize that not every student arrives with the materials they need. Your donation helps remove that barrier. Instead of worrying about whether they have the right supplies, students can focus on thinking critically, engaging in discussion, and fully participating in class activities.\r\n These materials are not just objects; they are opportunities. A notebook becomes a place for brainstorming ideas. A set of highlighters helps students analyze complex texts. A binder keeps their work organized and builds habits that will serve them long after high school. Your contribution directly supports an environment where students feel prepared, confident, and valued.\r\n Beyond the tangible impact, your kindness sends an even more powerful message: that our students matter. Knowing that members of the community are willing to invest in their education reinforces their sense of belonging and motivates them to work harder. It reminds them that they are supported not just by their teachers, but by people who believe in their potential.\r\n On behalf of my students and our entire classroom community, thank you for your generosity, compassion, and belief in public education. Your support truly makes a difference every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1755521891764,"projectUrl":"project/back-to-school-basics-2025/9479693/","projectTitle":"Back to School Basics 2025","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Stinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2875367_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1522339136275","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/stinson2024"},{"teacherId":2875367,"projectId":9345704,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support on the garden 3.0 project.
