This powerful little scanner has quickly become an essential tool in the speech room, helping streamline how I manage and share important materials for my students and their families. With a large caseload and many IEPS to write, I frequently need to digitize documents, organize records, and communicate efficiently with families and staff. The scanner allows me to instantly upload and securely share reports, therapy materials, and updates, which saves valuable time and ensures that students receive my consistent and undivided support.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting aspects of this technology is how it improves access and organization. Instead of relying on paper copies that can be misplaced or delayed, I can quickly scan and store materials in one place, making it easier to track student progress and collaborate with teachers and families. This has been especially helpful when providing bilingual support, as I can efficiently share translated documents and resources with families in both English and Spanish. The convenience of having everything readily available allows me to spend more time focusing on what matters most.\r\n\r\nOverall, this scanner has made such a meaningful difference in my daily workflow. By reducing time spent on paperwork and increasing efficiency, I am able to be more present during therapy sessions and more responsive to student needs. Your contributions have made a meaningful difference in the daily learning experiences of my students, and I am truly appreciative of your kindness and belief in their potential.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our classroom is now filled with engaging, hands-on materials that spark creativity, curiosity, and joy. The Play-Doh you provided has become an incredible tool for both creative expression and skill development. Students use it not only to explore their imaginations, but also to strengthen fine motor skills, practice shapes and letters, and collaborate with one another in meaningful ways. It has quickly become a favorite resource that brings smiles and excitement into our classroom every day.\r\n\r\nThe magnets you donated have opened up a whole new world of scientific discovery for my students. Through hands-on experiments, they are learning about magnetism, forces, and basic scientific principles in a way that is both fun and memorable. Instead of simply reading about science concepts, they are actively exploring, questioning, and making connections. These experiences are helping to build a strong foundation for future learning and encouraging a love of science that will stay with them for years to come.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the colored pencils and markers have greatly enriched our classroom environment. These tools allow students to express themselves artistically, enhance their assignments, and take pride in their work. Whether they are illustrating stories, creating diagrams, or simply adding color to their ideas, these supplies help bring their learning to life. For many students, having access to high-quality materials makes a significant difference in their confidence and willingness to participate.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my entire class, thank you for investing in our students and for making our classroom a more vibrant and engaging place to learn. It has been a bit of a roller coaster since the original item we chose was not able to be delivered, but it was a blessing in disguise because we were actually able to find an item that was cheaper and better suited for our needs, and then we had extra money to buy classroom materials. We ran into some delays in assembling the pergola which was our biggest purchase, but we've finally got all the pieces and have installed it in our yard, and it is such a welcome relief from both the sun and rain. \r\nWe were able to purchase items to support many areas of our classroom. From toys and art supplies to office and cleaning supplies, and even a folding table that we use for class parties, this gift has allowed us to round out our classroom environment and just to have everything we need to support our students and to operate smoothly. \r\nThe pergola is just amazing. It has adjustable louvers so we can open them to let in more light, or close them to block the sun and rain. It's sturdy and we were able to bolt it solidly into the ground so it will withstand the worst wind and rain that we get here. It's also just really sleek and beautiful! These new materials have given students the chance to have engaging hands-on experiences that encourage critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and team building! As our students use materials like the marble run, magna tiles, legos, chess sets, origami books and materials, puzzles, and snap circuits their language and conversations have become richer and they see themselves as critical thinkers and problem solvers. All of these materials allow students to become engineers, project planners, builders, mathematicians, leaders, makers, and inventors. I have thoroughly enjoyed giving student design challenges and have observed how students develop team roles and improve their negotiating skills!\r\nSome of our stem challenges include building elaborate structures, and towers using the marble run pieces, and magnatiles. I have challenged students to compare and contrast building habitats for humans vs animal habitats. Students are learning about scientific concepts like push-pull factors, slopes, velocity, gravity, kinetic energy, momentum and friction. Students like to create their own design challenges now too!\r\n\tLastly I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to pair books and texts to inspire students to continue their STEM projects and creations in our library. Using these low prep STEM materials has really encouraged students to check out more books with STEM themes.
