That in turn is helping us stay healthy during this flu season. Students were also very excited about our Giant Timer on which they can actually see the numbers to know how much time they have left of an activity before transition time. It has been a bit of a roller coaster since the original item we chose was not able to be delivered, but it was a blessing in disguise because we were actually able to find an item that was cheaper and better suited for our needs, and then we had extra money to buy classroom materials. We ran into some delays in assembling the pergola which was our biggest purchase, but we've finally got all the pieces and have installed it in our yard, and it is such a welcome relief from both the sun and rain. \r\nWe were able to purchase items to support many areas of our classroom. From toys and art supplies to office and cleaning supplies, and even a folding table that we use for class parties, this gift has allowed us to round out our classroom environment and just to have everything we need to support our students and to operate smoothly. \r\nThe pergola is just amazing. It has adjustable louvers so we can open them to let in more light, or close them to block the sun and rain. It's sturdy and we were able to bolt it solidly into the ground so it will withstand the worst wind and rain that we get here. It's also just really sleek and beautiful!
