Our student population is 95% latino. Our students are immigrants or are from immigrant families. Ninety-nine percent of our students receive free lunch. Our families spend a lot of their time working and aren't able to spend a lot of time with their children. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
