Since starting as the library assistant at this school, I have been able to grow a super impressive graphic novel sections for my students. Not just the older students, but I've found some adorable graphic novels for my early readers. Study after study shows that reading graphic novels is not a detriment to a students learning. The vocabulary that is used in graphic novels is very advanced. My students love graphic novels and I'm happy they now have a wider variety to choose from.\r\n\r\nIn addition to increasing our graphic novel section, your donor's choose contribution has gone a long way in introduce amazing women in history to my students. From Frida Khalo to Amanda Gorman, my students will have role models from all walks of life. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generosity.
