The numbered dinosaur, alligator and caterpillar puzzles are also a hit with the kids preferring to stand them up to display after they build them. All of the art materials my class was able to get from your donations have been wonderful. The students were so excited as all the boxes kept rolling in and they got to see what was inside. \r\nWe've been using these materials not only during art, but also during science, word study and so many other subjects. It's been such a treat watching them grow in their creativity and come up with awesome ideas. \r\nMost recently we used the paint and paper to have the students create their own animal habitats in shoe boxes! With your support they had a wealth of supplies to choose from and were able to make some really cool creations. \r\nThank you again for all of your support! You've made a bunch of Kinders very happy :)","fullyFundedDate":1737746609930,"projectUrl":"project/expressing-learning-with-arts-and-crafts/9077763/","projectTitle":"Expressing Learning With Arts and Crafts","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gilberg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9906042_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756344402786","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9906042"},{"teacherId":9407120,"projectId":8606408,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donations in support of our class. It has been so helpful having tissues boxes and wipes strategically placed around the classroom (and in the wagon) during the cold and flu season; not to mention all the cleaning supplies to kill germs and help keep surfaces and toys ready for safe use!\r\n\r\nHopefully you have been enjoying the art work that comes home. Before we had our drying rack, I would have to lay wet projects out on whatever space I could find in the teacher area and hope they didn't get smudged. Now, I can safely store multiple pieces of art on the rack, well out of reach of the kids and not taking up any valuable counter space.\r\n\r\nThe new rug for our dramatic play area has been the perfect addition to help make it a space to also enjoy a book or two, while dressing up or cooking some pretend food. The kids noticed right away and were happy to tell me the different seasons, months and weather along with words that begin with each letter of the alphabet that were displayed brightly on the rug.","fullyFundedDate":1725948295329,"projectUrl":"project/clean-room-healthy-and-happy-students-an/8606408/","projectTitle":"Clean Room Healthy and Happy Students and Staff","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9407120_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1702228368692","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9407120"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_38047","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":433,"numTeachers":22,"percentFrplEligible":33,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":58,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":23,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"19.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":75.5,"schoolId":38047,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Kate Sessions Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Kate Sessions Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/san-diego-unified-school-district/sessions-elementary-school/38047"}
