The alphabet soup cans help them identify items that start with a certain letter but can also be mixed with items from a different letter can to work on sorting. The numbered dinosaur, alligator and caterpillar puzzles are also a hit with the kids preferring to stand them up to display after they build them. The students were also excited to see and use the new sensory items the cozy canoe and folding swing. These are important tools to help the kids get and stay regulated and be focused for learning. All of the art materials my class was able to get from your donations have been wonderful. The students were so excited as all the boxes kept rolling in and they got to see what was inside. \r\nWe've been using these materials not only during art, but also during science, word study and so many other subjects. It's been such a treat watching them grow in their creativity and come up with awesome ideas. \r\nMost recently we used the paint and paper to have the students create their own animal habitats in shoe boxes! With your support they had a wealth of supplies to choose from and were able to make some really cool creations. \r\nThank you again for all of your support!
